Giving Thanks and heading to The Holidays!

Hey! check out my new video Yeah Yeah, a tribute to Duane Jarvis -Directed by Yuri Figueroa. Yeah Yeah is a song from my latest cd “Working Girl’s Guitar” available at BloodshotRecords.com I’ve been loving spending time in Abingdon, Virginia on my retreat and working on my memoirs. My book will hopefully be finished in a couple of months and I will start looking for a publisher! It’s nice to be in Virginia, it’s a beautiful change from Austin, although I do miss my home. What’s also great about this retreat is that I’m getting a chance to rest my voice completely. At this point I have not spoken since Nov. 2nd. so I am hopeful that I can avoid surgery because I’m planning on performing a lot in 2014 both with my Jazz quartet and my rockin’ band in Austin. The year starts with a bang! On January 9th, I’ll be performing on stage for one of my favorite guitar players Albert Lee, for his birthday celebration with a wonderful lineup of amazing guitar players. Then January 11th back in Austin with Alejandro Escovedo at the Moody theater with another stellar line up of songwriters and musicians. I’m going to stick around for a couple of months and then planning to hit the road for various tours; like Spain with Marti Brom to continue promoting “The Blanco Sessions” that I produced for Janis Martin- and we’ll see what comes up for the New year! But before that, Next month, I’m looking forward to doing several Christmas dates with the fabuloso El Vez! The Latino Elvis! A lot of fun will be had at our Holiday spirited Merry Mexmas shows on the west coast. I will be promoting my Christmas Cd “Christmasville”, you can pick one up here at this site for your holiday party or to fill your favorite rosie fan’s stocking!! I’m grateful for everyone in my life, I keep my heart filled with gladness that i get to do what I do. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays my friends! cheers, rosie
