Boy what a year it’s been! Touring the Fall with Robert Plant and his amazing band with singer Suzi Dian. We hit 14 cities in about 4 weeks and had the time of our lives opening the shows in some beautiful theaters across the US and Canada. Listening to the Saving Grace tour was such a pleasure, I have to say it’s the best show I’ve seen in 20 years. Plant’s band have created such gorgeous arrangements of some old traditional English tunes, the arrangements are stellar with the vocals that soar up high and bring chills. That was something to remember! If you can make it out this Spring, we are back opening for The Saving Grace Tour starting on March 14th-April 7th. To those fans from the Outlaw Cruise ship, I will be missing you and I wouldn’t leave the ship unless it was a very important reason. At this point we so appreciate that Mr. Plant and his crew enjoyed what we brought to the shows and are absolutely over the moon that he want’s us back for the upcoming Springtime tour! Working on my wardrobe and my guitar licks! We can’t wait!
Another big deal was that my Austin band The Talismen finally released our LP on vinyl. It’s been 5 years in the making which started in Lockdown 2020. The reviews have been really great and I’m so happy were getting some airplay with some of the best tunes on the record. I plan to do a short run of CDs for those who still collect those and actually own CD players. Although in December it’s usually a time to feel Merry, sorry that the end of the year broke my heart with losing dear musicians and friends, Jim Stringer, Joe Ely, Raul Malo and Todd Snyder. Those men especially inspired me as an artist and I wouldn’t be who I am without their amazing heart and souls, which gave me the passion and influence to keep rocking. I’ll never forget them. So looking forward, I have some exciting things in line for next year and will be counting the days until mid-March when myself and Chris Sensat with Tommy Vee hit the road for the next Robert Plant tour. Hope to see a lot of you out there. Keep the faith, be kind to one another and please spread some love for me. xoxoxo
