Autumn in Austin

What a gorgeous time of the year! After the summer heat, the weather gets better and better there’s more time to be a creative. I’m gearing up to record in Nashville next month so working on songs and painting as well as getting close to finishing writing my book. After a change of schedule and a great time in Sweden, I will finally hook up with friends, guitarist Kenny Vaughn and bassist Dave Roe to spend some time in the studio.

It was a thrill for me in Sweden to hook back up with guitarist, Billy Bremner (RockPile) who played guitar on my first Warner Reprise LP. Billy also toured with my LA band for a few years. He’s still just as funny and plays with the just as much fire if not more, he’s amazing. I’d love to have Billy back here in the states for a tour next year.

I’m also looking forward to the Sirius Radio Outlaw Country Cruise in February, I believe that there are still available tickets for this incredible line up that I’m jazzed to be a part of. Some of my best friends will be coming aboard so I’m looking forward to some relaxing fun. Between now and the beginning of the year, I hope to see some of you at the shows. Thanks for showing up and for your support. Be sure and check back to see what’s new and exciting. Happy Autumn ya’ll~ rfxo
