Hello from Sweden!

The summer in Sweden has been so beautiful. It’s so great seeing my old friends from 10 years ago by spending time in this favorite small area, the Rockabilly influenced town of Enviken. Crystal clear lakes, strong tall standing trees and delicate scented flowers of purples and pinks. Some I hear are called Railroad Roses, i like that, maybe a song in there! Walking around these little villages taking trains with spare time is so relaxing, trying different foods, breathing fresh fragrant air, it’s like no other place I’ve ever been.

We’ve had a few shows, some rainy weather, some power outages but all in all, it’s great and I love working with these musicians. We’ve got a cool sound. I even get to add my ol’ pal from my LA band, circa-1987 Reprise Records, who played on my first LP- Billy Bremner (RockPile) to the mix. Billy is one of the greatest guitar players on the planet and a fun hang, he keeps me in stitches. So the Scandinavian area will keep us busy rocking’ and bopping! Do keep and eye on the tour dates here to follow the shows and send anyone here who maybe looking for some cool rock n roll, honky tonk and blues while I’m in Sweden or Finland.

This Autumn, September thru November, I’m looking forward to being back in the states staying busy with both playing live shows and recording a new record. Spending time writing my book so hope to have it finished by the end of the year. More to come!

Thank you for stopping by to catch up with me!
