Hey everybody, hope the new year finds you all happy and healthy.
This year I’ll release a new record, finish writing my book and spend more time painting to get a gallery show up somewhere. If anyone is heading to Austin, you can find me performing upstairs from the Continental Club at the Gallery with my jazz band The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet. This has been a side project for us and it’s building for going on 5 years. But you can still find me grabbing the neck of my guitar and playing the hell out of it with my band The Rhythm Rockers. We have shows around Austin as well as on tour starting with The Sirius Outlaw Country Cruise (if you’ve already bought tickets, it’s sold out) I’ll be having Sophia Johnson guitarist and singer from the UK joining me with her husband, drummer Tom Lewis (Heybale) for the Cruise. After the Cruise I will perform in Badelona Spain (Near Barcelona) with Mario Cobo and the Barcelona Big Blues Band on March 11th and then to Switzerland for a much needed rest and visit with my friends in Fruitigan.
